But that morning, they made an unexpected discovery. A tiny kitten was sitting inside their patio...
A mystery kitten
The wife had absolutely no idea where the kitten had come from. Since the patio was fully enclosed and secure, the couple couldn't understand how she had managed to get inside. However, after a quick inspection, they spotted a small gap. As soon as they saw it, they began to piece together what had happened.
There was a gap between the low wall and the mesh screen, which was just wide enough for a kitten to squeeze through. As a result, the little creature had made herself at home, even though she was shivering with fear when the lady approached her.
A clean bill of health
A week later, the couple took the kitten to the vet. Despite her adventures, the kitten – who turned out to be a little female – was in perfect health!
Eventually, the couple decided to introduce the newcomer to their five resident cats: Max, Lucifur, Paprika, Shade and Roy. The little female was accepted immediately by the resident pack. The couple then made the decision to adopt her for good, officially expanding their family!
