When the little crossbreed's rescuer heard the shocking story, she immediately got to work tracking him down.
She found him scared and confused, huddled in a cage at the public shelter. She immediately arranged to take him home with her, where he would be safe and properly cared for.
Curious, confident and full of character
Since arriving back at the rescue centre, Valentino has proved to be the happiest boy, seemingly unfazed by his heartbreaking ordeal.
He absolutely loves the company of people, and will push his way past other dogs to get attention.

"If there is a resident dog already in the home, Val needs adopters who can set boundaries and who will help him adjust to home life and share the attention. He is a very loving little dog with people and he is good with older children" explains Stray2Me Rescue.
Ready to find true love
Having been through so much already Valentino needs his next home to be his last. He deserves the security and warmth of a committed family, who he's sure to adore for the rest of his days.

He will soon be travelling from Romania to a foster home in the UK. Once there, he'll be desperately waiting to meet his humans.
