On 18th October, someone posted a photo on the social network Reddit that couldn't help but make us smile.
We can see a cat and a bearded dragon watching out of the window together.
A friendship between feline and reptile
As the person who posted this explained in the photo caption: "My brother's dragon and cat have become unlikely best friends". Nobody expected it, and yet the two animals had an instant friendly connection!
Indeed, as we can see in the photos below, the two companions take time to admire the view and the birds flying in the garden together. They also spend time together on the sofa, having naps together or simply enjoying each other's company.
They're fascinated
Although they make an unusual pair, cats and bearded dragons can live together peacefully with proper supervision and boundaries. Indeed, the two animals should always be supervised when they're together. It's also important to keep the animals in separate rooms or enclosures when unsupervised, ensuring that both animals have their own private space to retreat to if needed.
