A foster carer used a radical method to help a young kitten.

The kitten we're about to introduce you to never gave up. As reported by LoveMeow, passers-by found a kitten in need of help near a postbox in the US.

After a bit of searching, they found not one but two kittens. Unable to leave them there, a couple decided to take them to the Tompkins County SPCA in New York State.

"I can't hold her round the clock"

Molly then volunteered to help the duo. The kittens were fragile and vulnerable. Sadly, one of the baby cats died. Siouxsie, the smaller of the two, managed to survive on her own.

Thanks to Molly's patience and ingenuity, the little cat was able to bounce back. To help her, the woman gave her a toy cat so she could snuggle up to it. "It's not like having her mum or her brother, but since I can't hold her round the clock, it's something," she said.

At seven weeks old, the cat has passed 2 pounds and should be available for adoption in the coming weeks.
