In early 2025, a foster family welcomed a ginger kitten who needed help. Initially, Kelsey was overwhelmed and couldn't offer him a foster home.
After several days, Kelsey managed to free up some time to take care of the little ball of fur.
Struggling to eat
Named Pesto, the kitten immediately stole her heart. However, the little one was having tremendous difficulty eating.
Fortunately, he could count on other members of the household. In Kelsey's home, Pesto received support from Penny, a lovely dog. She quickly understood the cat's needs and tried to offer him comforting companionship. The same went for Fletcher, an elderly dog who also welcomed him with great kindness.
That was all it took for the kitten to start eating. Within a week, Pesto had regained his appetite, much to Kelsey's delight.
