The story of brave dog Bertha is truly heartbreaking.
After "8 years of loyalty", as the volunteer stated on her TikTok account, the dog was tied to a tree and abandoned by her family.
A terrible ordeal
A passer-by found the dog tied to the tree and brought her to the shelter. According to the rescuers, the dog's body shows signs of wear. They can tell she's had many puppies throughout her life.
Bertha seems happy to have found some security at the shelter. She shows her gratitude to the rescuers for taking care of her. She loves to rest and sleep. She finds it very difficult to leave her bed at the shelter.
