Novelty can be great enrichment for indoor cats - or so one caring owner thought.
She brought home and patch of fake grass, and stopped to film their reactions.
Confident and curious
The first to approach was Milo, a large tabby cat who usually stars on the family's Instagram account.
Confident and curious, he approached the grass without hesitation. Having sniffed and scratched at it, he then settled down for a well-deserved rest.
Next up was black cat Poppy. Sweet and sensitive, she decided it was safest to sit nearby. Unlike Maisie, who walked straight over to squeeze in next to Milo!
Too good to share
"Milo is definitely the boss, though we already knew that!" explained his owner in the caption. “I guess I’m going to have to get Maisie her own LOL!”
Viewers loved seeing the different reactions, and those who know Milo immediately agreed with his owner.
