Searching for his human
That's certainly the case for one TikTok user, who filmed a familiar scene with her cat when he couldn't find her in the house.
She was simply upstairs, but her ginger cat was at the bottom of the stairs, meowing to call for his human.
He seems to be saying, "Heeey, where are you??" as he actively searches for her.
A real relief
When the cat realises his mum is upstairs, he dashes up the stairs as quickly as he can. He doesn't stop meowing until he's right at her feet!
The ginger cat's owner wrote in the caption that he was "the most vocal cat" she had ever known.
