The 23-year-old sisters were left in charge of the pets while their mother went away for two weeks.
One of the dogs requires regular meals due to illness, making the responsibility especially important.
Scheduling conflict
To keep things organised, the sisters use a calendar on the fridge to mark down work shifts and plans. However, the system fell apart over the weekend. One sister, who works part-time while studying at university, noted her shifts and an evening out to watch football with friends.
Her twin had left to spend the day at a local market with her boyfriend.
Who is to blame?
When asked what time she would return home, the market-going sister replied she wouldn’t be back at all. This left the first sister frustrated, as she was working until 6pm before heading straight to the pub. The pair quickly began to argue over who should return home to feed the dogs.
Their mother has since sided with the organised twin, leaving the other angry and feeling unfairly blamed. Online, opinion remains split on who was truly at fault.
