In Argentina, firefighters were called out to save the life of a puppy trapped in a mud-filled pipe.
As reported by the website People, the fire brigade in the province of Santa Fe was alerted by residents of Villa Gobernador Gálvez who heard suspicious noises coming from the drainpipe.
A delicate rescue operation
As can be seen in some of the pictures, it took the rescuers a long time to reach and save the dog.
Fortunately, the puppy, named Capitan, survived his ordeal. Local media praised the quick thinking of the residents who promptly called for help.
