No coincidence
The area was right next to Mission Viejo's city shelter. So it was no coincidence that the puppies had been dumped nearby. Whoever had abandoned the puppies hadn't bothered to walk through the shelter doors to keep the little ones safe.
The man contacted the shelter's rescue team. They gathered up the puppies and brought them inside. They couldn't believe how tiny they were... The puppies were far too young to be separated from their mother.
Mission accomplished
The rescuers immediately began searching for their mother. They eventually tracked down the person responsible for abandoning the 10 puppies and the owner of their mum.
The owner agreed to surrender the mother dog, and the rescuers brought her back to her puppies. Finally reunited as a complete family, they were all placed with a foster family. It didn't take long for each puppy to find a forever home. Today, they're living their best lives: lounging on sofas, playing in their gardens, and receiving lots of love and affection from their families!
