If you're counting on this Golden Retriever to guard your house, think again.
In a viral TikTok video from the account Accordingtobelieve, the dog, named Frank, is seen warmly greeting a delivery driver who’s come to drop off a parcel.
Not your average guard dog
Frank is so thrilled to meet a new friend that he walks the driver all the way to the front door.
It’s easy to see why the clip is captioned: “Why golden retrievers can’t be guard dogs.” As the driver steps out of the van, Frank wags his tail excitedly before trotting alongside him like a loyal sidekick.
A picture-perfect moment
Once the parcel is placed by the door, Frank even strikes a pose as the driver snaps a photo to confirm delivery. Talk about cooperation!
Another clip shows Frank playing with the delivery driver for a few minutes, clearly enjoying the visit.
His owner wasn’t surprised: “His priorities are food and people,” he said.
Frank’s clearly more about meet-and-greet than home security.
