In a clip posted on the Hubertthegoldenretriever account, Albert, the family’s Golden Retriever, takes it upon himself to help a plumber who has come to fix a blocked sink.
A very enthusiastic assistant
Albert, who clearly has the soul of a craftsman, decided to join the plumber under the sink. As seen in the video, he made himself comfortable right beside him, watching closely as if he was learning the trade.
Of course, Albert’s enthusiasm did more to delay the work than help it along. In an interview with Newsweek, the dog’s owners explained that Albert was already familiar with the plumber, as he had visited before.
A viral star
The clip quickly gained attention online, sparking plenty of amused reactions. Many viewers praised Albert’s dedication, while others joked about his “apprenticeship.” One user commented, “He’s just there for emotional support,” while another added, “He deserves a paycheck!”
