Feline walking companion
The stray cat had decided to tag along, seemingly on a mission to find a better life.
The tiny feline stuck close to the walkers, matching their pace with surprising dedication. If they sped up, she quickened her steps. If they slowed down, she did the same, refusing to be left behind.
She was adopted
Intrigued by the kitten’s behaviour, a walking club employee contacted the PuppyKittyNYCity association for help.
That’s how Meagan came to meet this unexpected "walker". The little cat was covered in fleas, hungry, and thirsty, yet she showed no fear.
Meagan decided to take the kitten, now named Strider, into foster care. But first, she had a vet check-up and was sterilised.
Strider quickly adapted to life indoors. Gone were the cold streets; she now enjoys the comfort of a warm home. Before long, she found a loving family to care for her for the rest of her life.
