Anyone who shares their life with a pet knows the incredible bond that can develop between humans and their four-legged friends.
A couple recently decided to honour this bond, in a heartwarming video that has melted the hearts of thousands of animal lovers.
An adorable announcement
"We have an announcement to make and we wanted our furry friends to be part of it", they explained on TikTok.
The camera zooms out on two hands resting on top of a pair of fluffy white paws. Hiding underneath is an ultrasound scan,.
It then moves across to a dog and a cat lying either side of a babygrow, closing with two cats resting in front of the scan.

Hundreds of viewers wrote in to share their congratulations.
"Co-conspirators for the furry babies", joked a viewer.
"This will not be your baby when they arrive. That will be Kaya's baby", replied another in reference to the couple's dog.
