The comedian and wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee immediately sprang into action, even scaling a wall at their LA home to rescue the dog from the predator's jaws.
Brittany shared security footage of the terrifying incident on Instagram, explaining how she could pull Neena free.
Desperate rescue
"I climbed up the wall and grabbed her out of its mouth," she wrote, noting that Neena's size helped prevent the coyote from getting away with her.
Thankfully, Neena was uninjured, as the coyote only managed to grab her fur.
Brittany warned her followers about the growing danger of bold coyotes in the area and said she would no longer let her dogs out unattended.
Warning to pet owners
"Please be safe," she urged, advising extra vigilance with pets.
In the footage, both Brittany and Tommy Lee are seen rushing to the backyard during the attack.
Brittany, who has been married to Tommy Lee since 2019, said this was the first coyote encounter in four years. She received an outpouring of support from her 2.2 million Instagram followers.
Phew! We are just glad everyone is safe.
