At first, people couldn't work out what was happening as they walked down Piotrkowska Street in Poland.
A tennis ball seemed to fall out of the sky, narrowly missing many a passing head. Now, the mystery has been solved, and the mastermind behind it is a clever girl named Buba.
Her own invention
It turns out that Buba created the adorable game herself, after she dropped her ball off the balcony by accident.
"She threw the ball off the balcony once by accident, someone threw it back, and it continued", her owner Agnieszka told broadcaster TVP.
The clip, which was shared to TikTok by WeRateDogs, shows the black dog positioning her ball between the balcony railings, before letting it drop down to the street below.
The reactions of passers-by vary, with many curiously looking up and smiling when they spot her. Others seem perplexed and just walk on.
Buba becomes a star
Videos of Buba have now been viewed by millions of dog lovers around the world, transforming the clever canine into an internet sensation.
Polish newspaper Kurier Poranny recently reported that Buba has become quite the tourist attraction, with people even travelling hundreds of kilometres to visit her!
