The animal rescue Akeuil'moi took to Facebook to share the story of Noline, who was found living on a balcony.
Cramped balcony
She was discovered on a cramped balcony with only a small carrier and litter tray for shelter.
At first glance, they assumed the small animal was a cat, but as they got closer, they realised Noline was a tiny, two-year-old dog.
Weighing just four kilos, Noline was significantly underweight and suffering from severe neglect. She also had a fever of 40.2 degrees, infected ears, and sores on her paws.
Her fur was so matted she couldn't even see.
Hope for the future
A professional groomer spent 90 minutes transforming Noline's, revealing a cute face under all that matted fur.
Now, in the care of a foster family, Noline is adjusting to a much more comfortable and loving environment.
Poor Noline. At least she can now look forward to a happy future.
