TikTok user @luvbulldog shared the bizarre ordeal, explaining how she packed her van for a day in the forest with her dog, Dolly.
Just minutes into their walk, Dolly seemingly collapsed, leading her panicked owner to fear the worst.

Convinced her pet was in serious distress, she dialled the vet for urgent advice.
However, the diagnosis was far from life-threatening. The vet reassured her that Dolly was perfectly fine, just unwilling to walk because she "didn't like the feel of mud between her toes."
The French Bulldog, it turned out, was dramatically protesting the great outdoors.

Images from the viral video, which has so far amassed over 66,000 views, show Dolly sulking in the van, unwilling to budge.
Viewers were quick to relate, calling Frenchies "dramatic" and "fussy." Others shared their own pet struggles, from dogs refusing to walk on wet grass to avoiding morning dew.
Back home, Dolly’s energy returned instantly, confirming she is, in her owner’s words, a true "home dog."
Safe to say, her wilderness days are over.
