Rap icon and Grammy-nominated artist Snoop Dogg has been attending the Olympic games as both a torch bearer and a special correspondent.
But it seems one of his biggest wishes had less to do with the Olympics themselves, and more to do with friends of the four-legged variety...
"Ask and you shall receive!"
"I heard you want to meet a French Bulldog", asks the interviewer, to which Snoop enthusiastically nods his head.
"Ask and you shall receive", replies a woman, carrying Pierre right over to the artist. "A d-o-single G!".
"Let me look at him", responds Snoop, gently taking the dog's face in his hands.
The best reaction
"Your name is Pierre Cardin", Snoop tells the sweet little Frenchie, as he places his paw on his arm.
He may have been too clean to hold the pup himself, but that didn't stop him enjoying as many cuddles as possible.
Viewers around the world were delighted to see the dog lover enjoying Pierre's company. "I love him. I have two Frenchies, Snoop - come hang out whenever you want!", wrote a fan.
