When she was adopted by her owner, Ashley Berken, Peach was welcomed into a household that already included cats named Ducky, Mr. Big, and Rufio, the latter being just a few weeks older than Peach.
Little gang
The cats took to the mini Dachshund immediately, treating her like one of their own. They engage in playful wrestling matches, eagerly await Peach's return home after walks, and together form what Ashley fondly calls their "little gang."
Since her adoption, Peach has had little interaction with other dogs, which may explain why she readily embraced her feline friends' habits. In fact, Ashley humorously claims Peach doesn't have a single dog "bone in her body."
Even Peach's yawn looks like a cat yawn.
Catdog
A TikTok video shared by Ashley of Peach snuggling up with her cat companions quickly went viral, amassing over 1.3 million views. In the footage, Peach yawns alongside her furry friends before settling down for a nap, a scene that perfectly reflects her seamless integration into the feline lifestyle. She even climbs their cat tree and lounges in their hammock without a second thought.
While some dog breeds, such as the Vizsals and Shiba Inus, are known to have some feline-like characteristics, some viewers had their own experiences of pets picking up habits from each other.
One person commented, "I once walked into my beagle on top of my bookshelf with my cat," while another revealed, "I have the opposite. I have a cat who believes in her soul that she is a dog. She is actually petrified of other cats but bosses the pit bull."
