The world of dog lovers can be somewhat divided when it comes to the topic of where dogs sleep. Does your dog share your bed? Here's what you need to know. 

A study published recently in Psychology Today claims that around half of the dog owners out there, share their bed with their canine companion.

They respect personal space

Even if your dog does take up half of the bed, we're sure an uncomfortable night's sleep is worth the morning cuddles. Isn't it? 

They're so loving

How could anyone not enjoy the feeling of a beloved pet snuggling up close. As pack animals, dogs love being close to their people. 

They protect us

Contrary to what people may think, a dog choosing to sleep on the bed isn't just a "bad habit". Sharing space with humans is often a dog's way of showing their love for their home and their family. 

They are too adorable to resist

They may be inconsiderate (and often a bit too hairy), but many owners couldn't imagine sleeping without their dog by their side.
