Gogglebox's Malone family announce heartbreaking death of their dog

When the Malone family first appeared on ITV's Gogglebox in 2014, their Rottweilers quickly stole the show. This week, they shared some heartbreaking news.

The Manchester based Malone family won fans over immediately, soon becoming firm favourites of ITV's Gogglebox.

Their gang of Rottweilers made everyone smile, often appearing on camera alongside Tom Sr, Julie and their youngest son Shaun.

The saddest news 

It was Shaun that shared the sad news to Instagram this week, announcing that their beloved boy Bob had passed away.

"Today is the day we had to say goodbye to big Bob, an absolutely great dog like a big cuddly bear”, he captioned the post. 

Julie also paid her respects to their beloved companion. "We are heartbroken, RIP our beautiful Big Bob xx", she wrote. 

Fans around the world send their love

Fans from around the world sent their love and condolences. 

"The bigger the dog, the bigger the hole in your heart that they leave” shared a viewer.

“He was such a legend! So sorry for the whole family loss”, replied another. 

Heartbreakingly the family lost their dogs Dave back in 2023, Lucy in 2022 and Izzey in 2021. They currently share their lives with Tilly, a Rottweiler they adopted three years ago.
