Thankfully, her panicked plea reached Animal Aid Unlimited, who immediately rushed to the scene to evaluate the situation.
What they found there left them in shock. It was obvious they needed to act quickly to save the poor pup.
A heartwarming rescue mission
The puppy had some nasty injuries that would require urgent veterinary treatment.
While the mother dog was understandably nervous to let her baby be taken, she understood the team was there to help. Escorting them to their van, she checked her little one was in good hands, before returning to the remaining litter she was caring for.
After extensive treatment and many days of love and care, the puppy was strong enough to return to his family.
Animal Aid Unlimited returned to the site the mother dog lived at, placing the puppy down carefully next to his brothers and sisters. He immediately recognised he was home, running over with a wagging tail.

The video, which has been viewed 257 million times, received thousands of comments from worried supporters, concerned for the welfare of the mother dog and her babies.
"Good stuff, glad it had a happy ending. Thank you for your kindness", wrote one viewer.
In a post on their website, Animal Aid Unlimited explained that they had named the puppy Toggle. Thanks to their incredible efforts, he was able to be reunited with his precious family.
