From fear to love
When her rescuer stopped along the side of the road, she had no idea whether or not she would be able to help. But she knew she had to try. Tiny and defenceless, there was no way the brown stray could be left to fend for herself.
Crouching down and calling her over, it was clear the dog was absolutely terrified. The sound of her squealing in panic is heartbreaking, as she tries to work out whether she can trust the lady.
But on this particular occasion, love takes over, and she comes in closer for a gentle fuss.
Realising there is nothing to fear, she begins licking her rescuer's hand and face, almost as if she's thanking her for stopping.
A new beginning
