When this German Shepherd became a dad to five adorable puppies, his family were keen to carefully introduce the little family.
He tentatively approaches them, trying to work out who the tiny furry creatures are. Unphased by his size, the puppies run over one by one, wagging their tails furiously.
The first meeting
Having been placed on the bed, the puppies are actually the same height as their dad. This makes their first meeting even more adorable, as they run right up to his face to greet him.
Slightly unsure initially, the adult dog takes things very slowly, gently nuzzling and sniffing his babies.
Greeting them one by one
"The animal kindgom is just amazing, full of intelligence, beauty and love... better than that of humans", commented one admiring viewer on YouTube. "I love how he is greeting them one at a time. His reaction is priceless", exclaimed another.
Some viewers found it fascinating just how different each interaction could be. "It's surprising how they already have different personalities, even at such a young age. One is trying to hide behind the cushion so his dad doesn't see him, and the smallest of the litter is quite happy trying to nip and play with his dad's nose!".
