As the man crouches down to greet the approaching cat, he’s obviously anticipating an affectionate embrace. At first, the cat joyfully sprints towards him with its tail held high. However, it quickly experiences a change of heart upon nearing its owner.
Whether it saw something out of our view or it just changed its mind, it abruptly veered off in a completely different direction.
Disappointed (but not surprised)
Hanging his head down, the owner's reaction appears resigned to this inevitability.
While several people commented on the video that this was why they prefer dogs to cats, one person noted,
