A rescue Pittie at an animal shelter has come up with an adorable way to make people notice her and hopefully offer the one thing she wants - a real home.

Eden the Pittie is one of the furry residents at Logan's Legacy Dog Rescue Center in Los Angeles, California. Although the shelter is run by dog lovers who do their very best for every canine, it's still not the best place for a pooch to be. As we all know, every dog deserves a proper home and people to love them.

Dogs need homes and people

But the shelter is infinitely better than where Eden was before. The poor pup was living on a piece of wasteland on the outskirts of the city, surviving off scraps and leftovers she could find.

When rescuers finally got their paws on Eden, she was bone skinny, severely malnourished, and suffering from a painful skin disease. That's what life on the streets does to a dog. It's heartbreaking to think of a sweet soul like Eden being out there all on her own

Rescuers were amazed by Eden's spirit. Life hadn't broken her. She was still a sweet, loving, and affectionate dog. Volunteers at the shelter say Eden is one of the nicest and friendliest dogs they've ever met.

Eden is the kind of dog that wants to be best friends with everyone. Whenever someone passes by her cage at the shelter, sweet Eden pokes her paw through a tiny gap. She does it every single time, without fail.

Take me home with you?

"She just wants to hold our hand all the time," explained shelter founder Suzette Hall. "It's like she's saying to everyone, 'Thank you for noticing me.'"

All Eden needs now is someone to notice her and then take her home. Let's hope that happens sooner rather than later.

You can see Eden offering her paw in this cute video below. Could you resist this face and paw?
