Dogs are man’s best friend for a reason. A video has emerged showing a pitbull pup doing everything he can to guarding his young human sleeping nearby.

While the person filming tries to get close to the sleeping boy, Chumpy makes it clear that he won’t let anyone get close to the child. With YouTube viewers commenting:
“So cute, guarding his little boy,” and “lol you are not going to wake him up.”
Pitbulls unfortunately, often have a bad reputation as being aggressive dogs. As the person tries to reach out to touch the boy, the dog puts his mouth around their hand, causing one Youtuber to post:
“Once the pitbull closes his jaw, goodbye to that hand.”
But this video circulating the internet just goes to show how loving and protective these dogs can be.
