Terri regularly sees a small herd of deer visiting her garden. They are usually a small herd, between 2 to 6, and they often come in early autumn to nibble on Terrie’s apples in the garden.
According to Terri, the deer are very discreet and never approach humans who live next door. She didn't think that would ever change. But it did!
An unexpected encounter
A few months ago, while watching the deer in her garden, Terri noticed that they were approaching Flambo, her beautiful one-year-old cat, who was lying on the grass.
Instead of getting scared or even being aggressive, the cat was very calm and let the deer approach her.
That's when the most incredible thing happened. After staring at her for a few moments, the does began to lick her, as if she were a small deer!
When Terri saw this scene, she was very surprised, she did not expect this gesture from the does at all. She immediately grabbed her phone to film it.

Clearly, this is not the kind of situation that happens often, so it's best to film it so you can share it and keep a good memory.

At Wamiz, we have already had the chance to see unusual friendships, but most of the time, it is small animals like rabbits and cats or dogs and cats. But deer and cats? We have never seen that before!
