In this video, Luca the Cane Corso pup is out exploring with his dog dad. Suddenly, they come upon a statue of a life-sized man.
When Luca sees it, he approaches cautiously, sniffing to get some intel on the man.

Strangely, though, the man doesn’t really smell like a human. That’s always fishy. So Luca, make sure to let his dad know.
He lets out huge barks – worthy of a much older dog’s voice – as if to say “I don’t know what you are, but you better not mess with me and my dad!”
True to his breed
It appears that Luca is shaping up to be a very good guard dog. With that impressive voice, he won’t need to do much to ward off any unwanted visitors.
While Luca is a beautiful dog, it’s worth noting that Cane Corsos are a big breed that needs a lot of socialisation if they are to be friendly with people and other dogs. They’re not the best choice for first time owners!
