Indeed, when Shadow’s owner brought a baby goat into her home, she didn’t know what to expect from her dog.
Would she get aggressive? Would she be dangerous to the little animal?
A tender moment caught on tape
Turns out she had nothing to worry about. Mere moments after meeting, the kid was snuggled up close to Shadow, who remained as still as possible so as not to disturb him .Shadow’s mum can be heard in the background saying:
“For some reason, the baby goat thinks Shadow is its mummy, and Shadow likes the goat!”
Strong maternal instincts
Indeed, Shadow looks more than thrilled with her new ‘puppy’. Though she tries to stay as still as possible, she can’t help but wag her tail excitedly, and the look in her eyes says it all – she’s delighted!
Shadow even occasionally licks the little baby, as if he were her own baby. Watching the two of them together is truly heart-warming, and shows us once again that in the animal world…love knows no bounds!
