When the resident found the kittens in his garden, the little ones were without their mother and completely on their own.
At first, he wasn't too worried, as he thought their mother would soon return for her babies.
Alone in the world
After hopefully waiting for her to return to the area, he realised she wasn't coming back and the kittens were truly all alone. They needed help, as they were barely three weeks old and too young to survive on their own.
He reported the poor kittens' situation to the Tails High rescue centre. Rescuers arrived as quickly as possible to help them. The centre then placed the kittens with a foster family, as Butterball and Wishbone needed round-the-clock care. They had to be bottle-fed and kept warm to help them thrive.
Finding comfort
Fortunately, the two kittens snuggled up to each other for comfort during their ordeal. They supported one another and kept each other warm. Thanks to full bottles and constant care, the kittens began to grow and develop. Their eyes opened and their ears perked up. Gradually, they gained confidence and started to explore their surroundings.
Now two months old, the two grey tabby brothers have grown up well. They have become confident, affectionate kittens who are bursting with energy. The rescuers hope they will soon find their forever family. We wish them all the best in finding their new home as soon as possible.
