A very poorly kitten
It was very dirty, as if it had been covered in oil and grease. The kitten was in a critical condition. Not only was it unable to walk, but its eyes and nostrils were also blocked with mucus.
The man didn't hesitate for a second. He scooped the kitten up and took it home. The next day, the family took the little female to the vet. She weighed only 3.1 pounds at four months old!
A fresh start
The little kitten was named Carli. She was given a course of oral antibiotics, an antibiotic eye ointment, and an antibiotic injection. Thankfully, with a diet of high-calorie wet food, Carli is starting to regain her strength. She has also been vaccinated and tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and is currently in isolation while they await the results.
Her new family is taking wonderful care of her. Carli is getting plenty of cuddles and enjoying long naps next to her personal heater!
