Samantha's husband went to collect the three-seater sofa from the colleague who sold it to him.
When he went to pick up the sofa, the colleague made sure to warn him to be careful with open doors, as he didn't want his kitten, Cheeto, to escape.
Strange noises
Once the couple had set up the sofa in their living room, they immediately noticed that their two dogs were extremely interested in it. But Samantha and her husband weren't worried, thinking the kitten had simply left its scent on the fabric.
However, as the evening went on, things started to get strange. Samantha heard a noise, but her husband couldn't hear anything. Every time she asked him, "Can you hear that?" the noise would stop instantly, leaving her husband wondering what she was talking about...
Mystery solved
Finally, after two hours of this strange noise, Samantha decided to investigate. That's when she came face to face with... Cheeto, who had managed to sneak inside the sofa. The couple couldn't believe their eyes!
They immediately contacted Cheeto's owner, but as it was late, he didn't reply until the next morning. It took Samantha and her husband a while to coax the little kitten out of the sofa, but they eventually managed to get her into a small dog crate. They gave her some water and dog food, as it was all they had in the house.
Eventually, Cheeto was returned home safe and sound, and her owners were extremely grateful that nothing serious had happened to her. What an adventure for little Cheeto!
