An unexpected visitor
In a block of flats, one resident had a surprise that was as unexpected as it was moving: a little cat literally invited himself in.
As reported by the website Love Meow, the cat slipped into the building through a maintenance door that had been left open.
Hearing the young woman's voice, the kitten rushed over to her. Not at all fazed, the little cat immediately started asking the stranger for cuddles and scratches.
Intrigued by this kitten who had appeared out of nowhere, the resident tried to find out who he belonged to. After looking around and asking the neighbours, she realised the little one had no family.
A sign from the beyond?
It was raining heavily outside. Given the situation, the young woman couldn't bear to let him go back out onto the street. She brought him into her flat, dried him with a towel, and made a small makeshift bed for him to rest somewhere warm.
The kitten quickly proved to be particularly affectionate and curious. As soon as he was settled, he began exploring the flat, climbing on everything and regularly snuggling on his new friend's lap.
This encounter took on an even more symbolic meaning for the young woman. She was going through a difficult time following the recent death of her grandmother, who had adored cats.
She wondered if he could be a sign from her grandmother. Following this special encounter, the young woman decided to adopt the kitten.
