In late 2025, Amber, a volunteer with the rescue organisation “Tails of the Forgotten Paws”, was called out to help two stray cats.
The two cats, named Reba and Harry, were soon placed in Amber's care. At first, the feline pair were very timid. They would hide under furniture and avoided any contact with the volunteer.
A cautious couple
With a great deal of patience, Amber managed to win their trust. While the male cat seemed more affectionate, the female was still wary.
Her cautiousness was almost certainly due to her condition, as the female was about to give birth. One evening, Amber was woken by faint meows. Rushing to Reba's side, she found the first tiny kitten.
A surprise delivery
Twenty-four hours later, the new mother had given birth to all of her kittens. Reba took to her motherly duties straight away.
Thanks to Amber's kindness, this little family will be cherished forever.
