This is the case with Bruce the cat. On 2nd November, he chose his human for life.
He went from the streets to the comfort of a cosy home.
A guardian angel
As his new owner explained in the caption of his Reddit post: "Bruce invited himself into my apartment and adopted me." In the carousel of photos, you can see four pictures of the cat making himself at home. He's perfectly comfortable in his new surroundings!
The cat had actually followed his new human to his flat. It was clear he was very thin and hungry. Fortunately, he could count on his guardian angel: the human he had chosen. The man didn't hesitate and took him to the vet. The poor cat weighed only 5 pounds at 9 months old. He had injured his tail and couldn't lift it.
Amputation necessary
Unfortunately, the examinations revealed that Bruce was suffering from a tail pull injury. His tail was completely separated from his hips and spine. Amputation was necessary...
The next day, Bruce was operated on and neutered. There were a few complications following the operation, but thankfully, with antibiotics, Bruce regained his energy. He's now recovering in the comfort of his home. He's even put on weight and now weighs nearly 7 pounds!
