On 9th October, Inês was delighted to attend her ultrasound scan to see her baby for the first time.

One thing's for certain: the young woman absolutely didn't expect what she was about to discover in the images!

It was only when her best friend looked at the ultrasound images that she pointed out the strange resemblance to a family member...

The spitting image

On the ultrasound, the baby didn't resemble its parents or even its grandparents, but rather... its canine brother, Goulash. From the moment they realised this, Inês and her husband couldn't see anything else! They were absolutely in stitches.

Indeed, the baby looks exactly like Goulash, judging by the photo of the pooch they placed next to the ultrasound. It's particularly around the eyes that you can see the resemblance. In the comments, it becomes clearer: it's actually a photo taken from beneath the baby's chin, and what appear to be eyes are in reality... nostrils!

They all agree

Inês lives in Lisbon, Portugal. She rescued Goulash when he was just 7 months old, and she's convinced he'll make a wonderful big brother. He's very gentle and patient, and always careful with children. After posting the video, the young woman was impressed by the enthusiastic reaction from 1.8 million people on TikTok.

Internet users are absolutely unanimous. They commented: "Delighted to know that your youngest looks like your eldest. No DNA test needed." And also: "The family genes are strong!" Another person said: "You can't deny they're siblings. It's uncanny." "Your children look so alike, congratulations." We completely agree: the resemblance between the two is truly astonishing!
