It was the first time Lolo had ever been so close to these creatures.
The dog and his owner were walking past a field of cows.
The cows all had chocolate-coloured coats, just like Lolo the Labrador Retriever.
The same colour
Intrigued by these huge four-legged animals, Lolo went up to the field and placed his front paws on the fence. It was then that the four cows approached as a herd to sniff their curious visitor. Lolo also leaned over the fence to sniff the cows.
What's really amusing is that all the animals are exactly the same colour! In fact, Lolo's owner joked in the caption: "My chocolate Lab has found his family!" and it's absolutely hilarious.
A case of mistaken identity?
Social media users were also highly amused in the comments section: "I see absolutely no difference!" one wrote, while another added: "Do you think the cows believe he's a calf? That's adorable." It made us wonder if Lolo thought the cows were just enormous dogs!
We'll never know the answer to that question, but one thing is for sure: Lolo has made some new friends and will be sure to say hello to them on his next walk!
