At the end of February, Pudding the dog was adopted by his family.
A happy adoption
After a few months at the TAGG Rescue shelter in Texas, USA, the dog could finally look forward to a happy life with his new family. But they weren't the only ones waiting for him! When he arrived at his new home, Pudding discovered he was getting a new brother: a rabbit named Big Fluffy.
Friendship between dogs and rabbits doesn't always come naturally, but some pairings just click. This was certainly the case for Pudding and Big Fluffy, who get along wonderfully. In the video below, you can see them playing together, all while their loving owner films the heartwarming moment.
A perfect match
Pudding is very gentle, sniffing the rabbit and giving him little nudges with his nose to encourage him to play. The rabbit isn't scared at all and hops on the dog to sniff him back. Their owner can be heard telling the rabbit not to bite his canine brother, and telling Pudding to stand his ground.
Then, the two animals start playing again, one 'chasing' the other before they both tumble into their respective beds to continue their game, this time lying down. This meeting surely marks the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship!
