When they went to meet the puppy at the breeder's, the little one rushed into Kara's arms and let himself be carried.
An adorable puppy
The little Golden Retriever stayed calm and cuddled the couple, even giving them little kisses. Kara and Dave were won over by his gentle, easy-going personality. One thing was certain: he was the one they wanted to adopt!
At home, the puppy kept up this calm demeanour for the first few days. However, the couple soon realised that Cheddar's relaxed behaviour was just a clever act...
Change of behaviour
Indeed, the couple revealed in a video on Instagram that they'd been mistaken in thinking Cheddar was the "calmest" puppy from the litter. The first images in the video show adorable Cheddar being held in his parents' arms.
Then, we see him running all over the house, pulling sheets with his teeth, pawing at the mirror, destroying toilet paper and more. The puppy had completely unleashed his mischievous side. Despite this chaotic period, which is a normal phase in a puppy's life, the couple are delighted with their pup. Cheddar is so sweet and affectionate and brings them so much joy.
