Adrienne, who lives in a quiet Toronto neighbourhood, is the happy owner of Goose, a chocolate Labrador.
And as she's shown on social media, her beloved pooch has an extraordinary relationship with Drew, her neighbour.
In fact, it's not unusual for Drew to text Adrienne to see if her dog is available to come and play.
An incredible friendship
This friendship began after Drew lost his two elderly dogs: "He would come to see him outside when we were in the garden, so when we booked a trip to Disney, I thought we could perhaps ask Drew if he wanted to look after Goose while we were away".
The man and Goose have since become inseparable friends. They meet up for walks, trips to the dog park and even relaxing moments at Drew's house.
"Goose brings him so much joy and vice versa", Adrienne told Newsweek.
A home away from home
In fact, as you'll see in the video shared on TikTok, Goose has his own little routine at his friend's house. He has bowls at his disposal and even a lead for walks.
