Lindsey Needham knew that her cat and her son were buddies but this adorable video shows that the furry feline and her toddler human are best pals, day and night.

When Lindsey brought her baby son home from the hospital, she was unsure how her beloved cat, Zora, would react.

As Lindsey held the little bundle in her arms, Zora took a sniff of his head and immediately began to purr. It seems that the pair were always destined to be the best of friends.

The language of friendship

Lindsey assumed such conversations only happened when she was present until she heard meowing one evening after she’d put Brody to bed.

An unusual sight

She checked the nanny cam, and what she saw made her laugh aloud. With the lights off and the baby in his crib, Zora had snuck in to have a chat with her pal. Brody was standing meowing and Zora was standing on a nearby chair, listening to his meows and responding with her own.

Lindsey found the conversation hilarious,

“It looks like they're having a real conversation. My husband and I couldn't help but look at each other and laugh hysterically."

Since then, she’s made sure the bedroom door is closed in order to let Brody sleep through the night, but the inseparable duo are as chatty as ever during the day.
