This meant that, despite trials and unexpected events such as separations and house moves, our commitment to our pet continued.
Unfortunately, this adorable dog's family didn't grasp the importance of this commitment.
Heartbreaking fate
On 2nd September, rescuers at Valley Animal Center in Fresno, California, posted a heartbreaking video about a dog called Finn. The poor lad had been abandoned a year earlier and thought he'd found his forever family. Sadly, when they moved house, his "family" brought him back to the shelter.
In the footage below, you can see the grey dog's face, eyes full of sadness, behind the bars of his kennel. He seemed to be wondering what he was doing back at the shelter, after experiencing the warmth of a home for a year.
Finding his forever home
Finn was a lovely dog with children, cats and even other dogs. The rescuers hoped once again to find him a forever family who would adore him as much as he would adore them!
Internet users were charmed by the dog's appearance: "Look at those eyes!" commented one user. We hope he finds his future family very soon.
