If you're lucky enough to live with a Golden Retriever, you'll know the breed forms strong attachments to their toys. Reedy, a six-and-a-half-year-old dog, would certainly agree.
Recently, Lauren, 32, shared a video showing her dog's horror at discovering his "dad" had left his favourite toy out in the rain.
"He refused to let go"
"He loved sitting on the patio, and when I opened the door to let him out, he saw that his favourite toy had been left outside in the rain (dad's fault, of course). He was so upset that he wouldn't come back in without it. When I tried to make him drop it, he refused," Lauren told Newsweek.
In the clip, Reedy showed his displeasure at this betrayal by retrieving his precious toy and taking it safely to his bed, despite his humans' protests.
"Dad, you're in trouble," and "Dad needs a talking to," users joked.
We hope Reedy has forgiven dad by now!
