For some time, Rosco's toys had been moved or found scattered around the garden each morning. His owner initially thought Rosco was playing at night... but the mystery remained unsolved.
She then installed a camera. When checking the footage, she was surprised to discover a young fox that was regularly visiting their garden. The fox cub played with the toys as if it owned the place, grabbing them in its mouth to run across the lawn.
An unexpected visitor
The fox cub, since nicknamed Stumpy, even returned with other foxes, probably its siblings and their mother. In the videos shared on TikTok, they can be seen taking turns with Rosco's toys, turning the garden into a proper nighttime playground.
The amused owner tried to block access to the back of her property using pallets and a ladder whilst installing proper fencing. Rosco, intrigued, had started wanting to explore the area where the foxes seemed to have made their home.
A charming invasion
The mother fox, also caught on camera, sometimes ventures right up to the garden furniture cushions. But despite this rather intrusive cohabitation, the owner seems to be taking the situation in her stride. The video, widely shared on TikTok, has already exceeded 122,000 views.
