The picture of Queen Camilla's new puppy comes just ahead of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show, where she is is set to pay tribute to her late dog, Beth.
A new pup and a healing heart
Queen Camilla announced Beth's passing in November 2024, calling it a "sad farewell" in a touching Instagram post.
Deeply affected by the loss, Her Majesty welcomed Moley into the royal household in February 2025 after rescuing the pup from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
A royal tribute in bloom
Moley’s debut is tied to a special moment at the Chelsea Flower Show, where Queen Camilla and King Charles will visit a unique exhibit: the BBC Radio 2/Monty Don Dog Garden. Designed by renowned gardener Monty Don, the garden features the names of Camilla’s dogs: Bluebell, Moley, and the dearly missed Beth, engraved along the path, alongside King Charles’s dog, Snuff.
Shared on social media by royal editor Rebecca English, Moley’s photo has already melted hearts. This floral tribute offers a fitting celebration of rescue dogs and the joy they bring, honoring Beth’s memory in the most touching way.
