"Imagine what life is like hitting your head in the box and other dogs are afraid of you", reads Zipper's appeal on Facebook. Will he ever find his family?

When Zipper first arrived into rescue, the team knew he would need a very special home.

Heartbreakingly, this sweet boy had to be removed from his owner, who had never shown him the love and kindness he deserved.

A very special adoption

With very limited vision, Zipper finds life in kennels extremely difficult.

His unusual movements mean other dogs in his kennel avoid him, and he just doesn't understand why.

"Zipper is a very sweet and loving boy, he adores fuss and attention", explains The Paw Project UK. "Zipper gets along well with other dogs and dog savvy children".

Ready for the happy bus

The gentle hound mix is currently in Romania, but thanks to the efforts of his rescuers, he's ready to travel to his new home.

Gentle Zipper would be happy to share his home with other dogs. @The Paw Project UK

As Zipper only has 20% vision, he is looking for an experienced, patient family who will help him settle and adjust in his own time.

In return, he will shower his humans with so much love. Loyal, friendly and affectionate, his bags are packed and he can't wait to board the happy bus to the UK.
