Domestic Shorthair Claudia was rescued by volunteers in Romania, after she was found wandering the streets as a stray.
They kept her safe in a room at the public dog shelter, but they knew that was no life for her long-term.
On her way to happiness
Thankfully, UK rescue group Safe Rescue decided to step in, arranging for Claudia to travel from Romania to the UK.
After a long journey, the little cat arrived safely with her foster family in Norwich, Norfolk. Cuddly and friendly with everyone she meets, she has quickly made herself at home.
Claudia's ideal home
"She is a lovely cuddly cat and she loves to be around her humans and rub herself against your legs", explains Safe Rescue. "She is looking for a home as an only cat, preferably. We would like to find either an indoor home or a home where she can go outside after a settling period".
